I’m working on moving the blog to another server so it might take a bit to get it all back up and running. I’m taking LOTS of photos and notes until I can fill it all in. 🙂
3/3-My beloved walked by. I reached out and squeezed his bum. My hand is now….. Wait for it…….BOOTY-full. bwahahahahabahhahahahahah!
3/5-The farm is starting to see some progress already this year. Now if I can stay pain free for a few days I might be able to help get some stuff DONE! 🙂 I can’t wait to be growing things! 🙂 I’m trying to get the blog fixed up so I can start posting new blog posts again for the new year. 🙂 I’ve been taking lots of photos. 🙂
3/7-Selling cookies at the Girl Scout cookie booth at Mast Gen! SNOW!
3/10-Sanding, staining, sushi, Starbucks, and Samoas and Savannah Smiles. That’s our alliterative plan for the day. lol! With enough proactive meds, I’m hoping to stay functional through this rainy weekend. 🙂 I’ve got a Girl Scout Cookie booth to do for a couple of hours, then cookie deliveries, and then I’ve GOT to finish my new desk…this “weekend project” desk-building is taking over a month now. 🙁 Doing Irish dance at the Sister Jolita event for Girl Scouts.
3/12-Said goodbye to the world’s greatest companion tonight. The cancer was just too much for him to fight.
3/16-Reagan always comforted us when we were sad or sick. He never wanted us to suffer and was always by our side when we were down. It’s so hard and we still cry quite a bit as we grieve. Even Sookie, our greyhound, is walking around searching for him and crying. He’d never want us to be sad for long, he’d want us to be comforted and taken care of. We’d been expecting this for months and have talked about what we’d do once he finally passed. We’d been reading about service and therapy dogs, breeds and temperaments. Tomorrow we are scheduled to visit a breeder and look at an older puppy. I guess we’ll see if we think he’ll be a good fit for our family. We can never replace our beloved Reagan. If this new puppy is a good fit, we’ll see about service and/or therapy training and take it from there day by day.
3/17-Our first day with our new Dally, Llama. He went straight from the breeders to Lowes to sell Girl Scout cookies. It’s been a LONG day!
3/19-We were accepted into market BUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTT, we were told that we cannot sell dried herbs this year. WHAT?!?!?!? What in the world will we sell? We’ll need to figure this out!
3/20-This morning Llama impressed me so much. As we walked down the stairs for him to do his morning business, he paused and picked something up with his teeth from one of the lower steps. At first, I thought it was a stick. Then he gently placed it on the concrete and I saw it was a slug. He ran out to the grass and ran back, picking the slug up again. Before I could say a word, he ran back to the grass and put the slug in the grass and then relieved himself. Since then he’s been running around playing like crazy for a couple hours until potty and training time.
3/22-Woodchips are delivered! WOOHOO! But something wacky is going on with our pond. :'(
3/27-We had lots of help and finished the entire woodchip pile in just a couple of hours! We finished topping the beds with soil (a mixture of compost, topsoil, and vermiculite).
3/31-GORGEOUS Blue Moon.
